CNN —Police launched an investigation Wednesday into the fire that tore through Copenhagen’s famous stock exchange building, causing the collapse of its spire and damaging centuries-old artwork and architecture. “It gives me hope because we have decided to rebuild the stock exchange because it’s part of European history as a trading continent,” he said. If they have the phones, they will be texting during class, and they will be focused on their phones. If they don’t have phones, they will listen to their teachers and spend time with other kids. Most middle school kids are entirely enmeshed in smartphones and social media. Because kids are somewhat sex-segregated online (they interact less with kids of the opposite sex), the situation is unconducive to heterosexual dating and marriage.

A man was shot at a mall in Sydney on Saturday following reports of multiple people stabbed, police in the city said. Emergency services were called to Westfield Bondi Junction just before 4 p.m. (0600 GMT) following the reports, New South Wales Police said in a statement. "People are urged to avoid the area," the statement said. "Inquiries are continuing in relation to the incident and there are no further details."
